Mały Przegląd and Nasz Przegląd - Our Review and Little Review

Nasz Przegląd

Nasz Przegląd (Our Review) was the most well-known Polish-Jewish newspaper in interwar Poland. It was founded in 1923. It was noted for its quality of writing and staunch Polish-Jewish stance. It was issued daily from editorial office at 7 Nowolipki str. in Warszawa.  Estimates of its circulation ranged from 20,000 to 50,000. The newspaper had also a significant non-Jewish readership. Nasz Przegląd staunchly claimed independence from political parties, carrying the label 'Independent Organ' in its byline, however it had Zionist leanings.

Mały Przegląd
Between 1926 and 1930 Nasz Przegląd had a supplement for children, Mały Przegląd (Little Review). It was edited by Janusz Korczak and appeared weekly on Fridays. Mały Przegląd had its editorial office also at 7 Nowolipki str.

Korczak wanted to form a papper that was created and edited entirely by children. Children contributed to the newspaper through letters, phone calls or if they wanted, by going down to the editorial office just to talk about what was on their mind.

Mały Przegląd had its reporters, correspondents in many Polish cities.

Mały Przegląd had its reporters, correspondents in many Polish cities as Korczak found it very important inform the young readers about news and events happening nationally, and locally. He wanted by this to crate the bonds between the children.

Last issue of Mały Przegląd (Little Review) dated September 1st, 1939.
